Empowering Women
& Girls Nation-Wide

About Us
The Girl Foundation is the most committed Social Enterprise established with the femiNINE concept. TGF is into conducting awareness talks on Child Sexual Abuse- POCSO Act, Substance Abuse, Date Rape, Menstrual Myths, Adolescent Issues, Gender Sensitization in all the rural and semi-urban Government Schools. Since it's inception in August 2017, TGF is focussed on resolving the challenges young students face. We empower both the boys and
the girls understanding the fact that without each other the society will be unorganized and imbalanced. We strive to reduce the drop out ratio and bring out the best from the student community. We wish to give a safer society for the next generations to come.
There is no greater in-humanity in the world than
hurting or belittling a child.

Our Initiatives
FemiNINE is our brainchild initiative that encompasses a set of concerns ranging from gender sensitization, lifestyle enhancement to Menstrual health, and basics like nutrition. We believe in the idea that basic essentials neglected to the vulnerable sections are the worst kind of atrocities or issues we failed to address as human beings. So, the NINE in FemiNINE is addressing the nine areas which have to be addressed immediately.

The Girl Foundation is one of the most committed social enterprises structured around gender sensitization, empowerment, health and well-being, and child safety. We envisage building a better world for every child out there, whereby we address the pivotal issues that the world we live in is currently facing. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a collection of 17 interlinked global goals designed as a paradigm to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.
193 countries of the UN General assembly have pledged to work towards the 17 goals and we take pride in doing our part. SDG 3 is about ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages. It promotes mental health, prevents and treats substance abuse, and grants universal access to sexual and reproductive health, and education. SDG 4 is about ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. It aims at equal access to quality pre-primary education; elimination of all discrimination in education; universal literacy and numeracy; and education for sustainable development and global citizenship. SDG 5 is about achieving gender equality and empowerment of all women and girls. SDG 11 aims to make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable. Our initiative with Project Period, Project Disha, and Project Paatashala is committed to addressing all these issues. Our pilot Project Disha aims to bring awareness among children, adolescents, and parents about the rising rate of child abuse, molestation, and rape cases. We have been creating awareness among young girls about menstruation, distributing organic/reusable sanitary pads to the weaker section of the society and demonstrating personal hygiene and menstrual management where a taboo around menstruation still exists, educating kids on substance abuse, supplying medical kits in the schools, and imparting knowledge on life skills. We strongly believe an empowered society is a foundation for a better world that we are all allying for, which could only be formed when girls and boys are rightly guided, educated, and encouraged. Our second PROJECT PAATAHSHALA – THE PATH, 100 Schools Campaign is committed to addressing all the Government Schools across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. We strive to reduce the dropout ratio. With our initiative “Tribal youth counselling” we try to edify kids with an understanding of the fact that the society is built with all genders coming together. With our credo to mould the young minds, the future of tomorrow, we believe in building a compassionate and promising future.
